Associated farmers exercise their rights, participate in the creation of agricultural policy and successfully develop and improve their agricultural production.
The Young Serbian Farmers (YSF) is a non-profit organization of civil society founded in 2019. YSF aims to provide support to all young people who want to start or improve their agricultural production. Moreover, YSF aims to network agricultural producers, educational institutions (professions) and the Ministry (decision makers) in order to improve the position of farmers in Serbia.
The organization’s founders are young people who primarily work in agriculture and make a living from it, and about 30% of them are educated in the field of agriculture. The idea for establishing the organization arose from the need for

The creation of better conditions for starting and developing agricultural production and actively engaging in agriculture.
• Improvement farmers’ position and enabling financial sustainability;
• Farmers’ knowledge improvement and enabling application of modern technologies;
• Providing assistance and support to farmers in exercising their rights;
• Improving farmers' awareness on all current agricultural topics;
• Development of a young and innovative agricultural sector in Serbia;
• Keeping young people in the countryside and provide them with better working and living conditions.
The biggest value of Young Serbian Farmers is its members and the organization brings together over 500 members from all over Serbia.
Another important value of the Young Serbian Farmers is a team of experts from various fields, who actively provide support to members and answer numerous farmers’ questions, with the aim of helping farmers start or improve their agricultural production.
Young Serbian Farmers have established successful cooperation with a large number of organizations, networks, the business sector, the media and donors, so that after only 5 years of active work, the Young Serbian Farmers has built very good references and potential for further development.
Young Serbian Farmers have been recognized by several different donors who were ready to finance the work of the organization, and one of the largest donors of Young Serbian Farmers is the European Union and the Kingdom of Sweden.
